The “Retro Rocket” is number two in the line of Retro Rocket Dragsters owned by Jon & Peggy Rowley of Amado AZ.
The 2005 built Neil & Parks develops it’s personality from it’s vintage paint job made to appear as if it was shot down from the skys, sat out exposed to the elements for many decades, and was rediscovered to see another day. You can even see where it was shot at, right by the John Force signature.
Taking over the driving duties is Terri Brewster of Rio Rico, AZ. Terri a long time driver, most recently in 7.0 Pro, met Jon in the Sacramento airport years ago on the way back from a race and discovered they shared the front engine dragster passion. With husband Bobby handling the crew duties, the team is glad to be back racing Jr Fuel.
Jon is having Neil & Parks build him a new Hemi engine to run in Jr Fuel “B”.
